What is SVEB 2?

With the SVEB certificate instructor one can lead group courses for adults. This certificate represents the first level and at the same time the first module of the AdA modular system, and is thus to be understood as a basic qualification. For many, this fulfills their professional qualification, because this certificate allows them to work in the education industry.

However, it is possible to deepen one's didactic skills and continue with the second level of the AdA modular system. This level II consists of five modules. After completing these five modules, as well as the level I instructor certificate, it is necessary to take an examination. The six modules of Levels I and II can be taken in any order, although it makes sense to start with the Level I module.

With level II, one achieves a professional specialization at the SVEB. After the examination, which is taken after the first two levels, you receive a formal qualification: the Federal Certificate of Qualification as a Trainer. But what are the benefits of such a federal certificate?

With this qualification, people working in education can take on more responsibility and no longer just lead courses, but also design and create curricula themselves. They can evaluate and advise other teachers and work in a managerial capacity in an educational institute.

However, it is not necessary to work for an educational institution. Another option, of course, is to settle down and work independently, or to support several companies in an advisory capacity.
